Ethical Chickens are GLUTEN-FREE

Wheat, Spelt, Rye, Kamut, Barley, Farro, Durum, Bulgar, Semolina and, Triticale contain high levels of gluten protein. Gluten protein is a mixture of hundreds of distinctly related proteins (prolamins), however, it's primarily comprised of two different classes of proteins: gliadin and glutenin (soluble gliadins and the insoluble glutenins).

Many people suffer from intolerance to gluten and the symptoms of gluten intolerance include allergic reactions, depression, Joint pain, inflammation, irritable bowel syndrome, headaches, bloat, diarrhea, constipation, gas, nausea, skin disorders, fatigue, brain fog, confusion, anxiety, abdominal pain, unwanted weight loss,  or unwanted weight gain.  NOTE: Wheat , barley and rye are not the only grains which contain gluten.
Wheat, rye and barley are widely used as livestock feeds and fodder. Most chicken feed contains wheat or barley. If people can have allergic reactions to gluten, can chickens? What about you?  Can you eventually develop an allergy to gluten?
Ethical Chickens do not eat gluten. Ethical Chickens are healthy and they thrive on a gluten-free diet because this how they are, naturally. We care about our chickens and we care about you. You can depend on Ethical Chickens to meet and, exceed the nutritional needs for improving and, boosting your immune system.
